Ijomah Remijus Chukwunwike is a passionate engineer and self-driven researcher from Nigeria, specializing in medical technology and digital healthcare solutions. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria, and later worked as the lead frontend engineer at a fintech company focused on digital banking platforms.
He has strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, with extensive experience translating complex Figma designs into accessible, responsive user interfaces across various devices and browsers. He is also skilled in consuming RESTful APIs, enabling seamless integration between frontend interfaces and backend systems.
Currently, Chukwunwike is pursuing advanced studies at Kyushu University in Japan, where his research focuses on the digitization of medical history documents to enhance digital healthcare systems. His work aims to convert analog healthcare data into digital formats to support faster, more accurate decision-making in clinical settings.
He is also deeply interested in entrepreneurship, especially projects related to social business and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His broader goal is to contribute to the development of affordable, non-invasive medical technologies, particularly for resource-limited communities.
